In 2023, outline planning permission was granted for the new West Suffolk Hospital on the Hardwick Manor site.
The Trust is now preparing to submit its Reserved Matters planning application, the second stage of the process, which focuses on the detailed design of the development within the parameters already approved.
Before submitting their application, the Trust is inviting feedback from patients, staff, and the wider community on specific elements of the proposals.
These include:
- Building heights and external appearance
- Access to and movement around the site
- Parking and transport arrangements
- Landscaping, ecology and how natural features are incorporated
Members of the public can find out more and share their views in several ways.
