James Cartlidge MP

Today I am wearing my Daisy badge to honour Daisy Brooks who, at the age of just 7, died after suffering from a brain tumour.

In April 2016 I raised Daisy's case in a Westminster Hall debate on brain tumours. During the debate the then Minister for Life Sciences, George Freeman MP, announced that he would be launching a task and finish group to look into brain tumour research and today the working group is reporting to the new Minister, Lord O'Shaunessy. As such, I have decided to wear my Daisy badge to raise awareness about this matter and honour Daisy and her wonderful family.
