British nationals currently in Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Palestine, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates should register their presence to receive direct updates from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Registration helps the FCDO understand which individuals and nationals are in the region, what tailored support may be required for vulnerable individuals, and ensures that those who wish to, can receive communications and updates.
You should follow the travel advice for the country that you are in and the advice of the local authorities.

The FCDO phone lines are also open 24/7 to provide consular support to affected British nationals. Those with enquiries or concerns should call +44 20 7008 5000.
Individuals must follow advice from the local authorities and sign up to receive information and alerts, including when it is recommended to shelter in place. If you are advised to take shelter, stay indoors or find the nearest safe building or designated shelter. An interior stairway or a room with as few external walls or windows as possible may provide additional protection.
