According to new Government guidance, speed limits on country lanes in our rural towns and villages “should be no more” than 20mph.
We currently have a balanced approached to 20mph, with specific zones at this speed – e.g. outside schools; or where Neighbourhood Plans have designated it. I’m concerned about a ‘blanket’ 20mph approach – but would be interested to hear what you think.
